Biography

Meet The Speaker

Alex Moresco is the founder of Moresco Public Relations + Communications, recently named PR Net’s Healthcare Agency of the Year 2023 at the Next Gen Awards. Once focusing on entertainment PR and talent relations, Moresco made a pivot to healthcare PR five years ago when her world was turned upside down by an undiagnosed illness. It took her two years and eight specialists to find a doctor that would eventually crack the case- multiple complex chronic diseases and tick-borne disease. Fortunately, Moresco pulls her experience living with chronic disease and “professional patient” skills to provide clients experience-backed communications strategies in building loyal, long-lasting relationships with both media, clinician and patient communities. Moresco PR is the sole firm that specializes in PR for tick and vector borne adjacent brands and clinicians.

With dual degrees in Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism, along with a MA in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University's prestigious College of Communication, Moresco has spent time working with companies like Nike and Facebook Watch- now boasting a client roster of top tier medical, healthcare, tech and wellness clients.

Moresco has gone on to raise nearly $1M for tick-borne illness research and makes frequent trips to lobby politicians in DC. Moresco has personally been featured on Shondaland, WGN, People Magazine, Fox, Michigan Avenue Magazine, Swaay, INC. and various other outlets. Moresco sits on the national board of Project Lyme, and the Emerging Leader Board for TN cancer nonprofit, Nashville Wine Auction.

Moresco’s clients can be seen regularly across The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, Forbes, Glamour Magazine, Healthline, Real Simple Magazine...and more. Moresco has secured over 250 prominent placements and media readership that equates to 1B in viewership in the last 12 months.
